Nick Hennemann
Nick is co-owner of We&Co and the architect behind its platform—the custom referral OS that powers Huddles, events, and member growth across Southwest Missouri. Jana Hennemann leads the vision and community; Nick builds and runs the engine so Chiefs and members spend less time on admin and more time on referrals.
Background
Nick brings more than two decades of enterprise software leadership to We&Co, including 22 years at Jack Henry in engineering management and operations roles in financial technology. He holds a B.S. in Management Information Systems from Iowa State University.
As co-owner and platform lead since 2022, he partnered with Jana after she founded We&Co in 2020. The goal was never another mixer with a signup sheet—it was a disciplined referral model backed by tools that hold people accountable. Nick designed and built that layer from the ground up.
Today he owns the full platform lifecycle: architecture, development, integrations, and the automation that keeps Huddle health, visitor follow-up, and membership billing running without franchise-style overhead.
How the platform is built
We&Co runs on a modern, in-house stack—not an off-the-shelf franchise portal. Nick applies the same rigor he used in enterprise FinTech: performance, reliability, and clear information architecture so members and Chiefs can trust what they see.

- Public transparency — live aggregate stats on the We&Co OS status page, refreshed from production data.
What the platform delivers
We&Co is not a national franchise template with a borrowed portal. It is a purpose-built referral platform for local Huddles — developed in-house so Chiefs and members get one place to work:
- Referral pipeline — track warm introductions from first touch through closed business on the member referral network.
- Huddle health & accountability — attendance, referrals, visitors, and group performance visible to Chiefs and Ambassadors, not buried in spreadsheets.
- Events & visitors — RSVPs, check-ins, and follow-up workflows so guest experiences convert to membership.
- Membership & billing — trials, plans, and self-service access tied to what members actually use on the platform.
- Member app (PWA) — mobile-friendly access for referrals, Huddles, and messaging on the go via the We&Co member app.
Vision + execution
Jana's decades in networking shaped the Huddle model — small groups, clear cadence, real partnerships. Nick's role is to make that model scale: smarter automation for Chiefs, a reliable member experience, and continuous improvement as We&Co expands across the Ozarks, including Springfield, Joplin, and Marshfield.
The result is high-trust, locally rooted networking with professional-grade infrastructure behind it—so members feel the community first, and the technology only when it saves them time.
